Sustainability in architecture deals directly to fundamental contemporary issues for our societies such as: responsible design, relationship with the environmental, cultural and social context with appropriate technologies. The project of the SOS Village in Jamshoro is based on a creative interaction among these aspects: design, cultural identity, technology; trying to find sophisticated but at the same time simple and cost effective solutions in each of these fields.
