Karachi Biennale Trust has appointed Noor Ahmed as the Curator for the fifth edition of the Karachi Biennale (KB27), set to take place in 2027.

A Karachi-based curator, writer, and cultural thinker, Noor’s practice bridges archives, heritage, and contemporary art through research-driven and interdisciplinary approaches. Having previously served as Assistant Curator for KB19 and led Pakistan’s largest museum digitization project, her curatorial voice is grounded in both local context and global dialogue.

Under her direction, KB27 is expected to expand its reach beyond conventional spaces, fostering inclusive narratives, site-specific commissions, and public engagement that reflect Karachi’s evolving cultural landscape.
