Karim A. Khan wins the ADA Award 2024-25 in the Art – 3D Art category for Still Life: Threads and Wires between Dead Trees—a poetic and site-specific installation that reflects environmental consciousness and artistic finesse.
Presented the trophy by Ms. Fatima Malik (British Council) and Dr. Venetia Porter (ADA Awards Art Jury), Karim’s work mesmerizes with its simplicity—two fallen logs connected by a translucent mesh cylinder, seamlessly blending with nature. Rooted in the artist’s ancestral village, the installation evokes fragility, responsibility, and a quiet hope for renewal.
Going beyond artistic merit, Still Life was further honored with the ADA Distinctive Award – Environment Leadership Award, presented by Mr. Ali Habib (Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, HBL) and Ms. Maria Aslam (Founder, ADA). This recognition celebrates Still Life as an inspiring symbol of environmental stewardship, urging communities and creators alike to reimagine their relationship with the natural world.
