ADA – Architecture Design Art is a magazine for architects, designers, artists and related professionals practicing in Pakistan. Pakistan’s only bi-monthly architecture, design and art publication, ADA has been in continuous publication since 2008. This national review of design and practice documents significant architecture art and design from across the country and features articles on current practice, building technology, art renditions and social issues affecting society and lifestyles.

ADA spotlights on architecture design and art; ADA defines art, design and architecture in Pakistan. Architecture, Design and art determine the space
and form we live and work and ADA questions, explores, and presents to the world as creative works from Pakistan. It defines how we relate to the broader society and cut across the syndrome of globalisation.     Founder | Chief Editor

    Maria Aslam established ADA magazine in 2008, along with her practice of architecture and interior design ArchWorks. In her 20+ years career, she has worked in design, led the research, and has been nominated as a speaker, convener, juror and critic in various global events. A graduate of Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture with a Masters degree from McGill University has represented Pakistan in many global forums. She has held prestigious leading positions for various architectural organizations in Pakistan and is currently the Chairperson Pakistan Institute of Interior Designers. Her inaugural book ‘Interiors of Pakistan Volume I was launched in 2016. She is a prolific writer, architectural historian and an environmental activist. She is the dynamic and driving force behind ADA’s growth and continued expansion into bigger realms. Follow ME
