Pakistan pavilion at the Expo-2020 Dubai will showcase ‘the hidden treasures’ of the country including the 7,000-year-old civilization. Visitors to the pavilion will get to know about the country through digital audio visual experience.

For the first time, Pakistan has unveiled details of its unique pavilion being built at a cost of $28.72 million (Dh 565.49 million) at the Expo 2020 Dubai site.

More than 76 per cent of the construction work for the pavilion named ‘Pakistan — Hidden Treasures’ has been completed this month and it is expected to be handed over for internal work to Pakistani management in a couple of months. The pavilion’s main function is to educate visitors about Pakistan by showcasing things that most of them do not know. “We will promote unique and vibrant cultures, a 7,000-year-old civilization, art and craft, religious harmony, natural wonders, economic potential and dynamism of the people,” said Rizwan Tariq, director-general of Trading Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) – via Gulf News.
